EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from eligible candidates by speed post lor the following posts under the project entitled “Impact evaluation of screen and treat approach for anaemia reduction: a cluster randomized trial in rural Telangana” funded by ICMR. The last date for receiving of applications will be 21. days from the date of uploading the advertisement in ICMR-NIN and ICMR websites or as on 02 FEB 2022 Applications received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances. Incomplete applications i.e., without mentioning Advt. No., SI. No.., Name of the Post, Category to which applied, will be directly rejected without intimation The candidates have to download the application form from www.nin res.in and fill in his/her own handwriting and may be sent by speed post to The Director, ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai Osmania Post, Tarnaka, Hyderabad – 500 007, Telangana State duly superscribing the Post. SI.No, Name of the Post and Category alongwith self attested copies of requisite supporting documents of essential qualifications, latest caste certificate etc., compulsorily.
After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be dispiayed on the official website www.nin res in for online interviews Based on the Selection Committee’s decision, the applications will be shortlisted and the link will be sent to the shortlisted candidates for online Interviews through Video call/ Video-Conferencing. The candidates have to make their own arrangements for Video Call/ Video- Conferencing. The selected candidates will be given offer of engagement as per the project requirement as and when required. The candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.
1 a). Project Field Worker
b). No of vacancies : 13 Posts (UR-5, OBC-4, “EWS-2, SC-2)
c). Essential : 12 pass in Science subjects from recognized board and two years
Qualifications : field/laboratory essential experience in Govt.recognized organization
Or
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition / Social Work /Sociology IAnthropology Psych gy/Nursing from recognized university. Knowiedge of local language written and spoken (Telugu)
d). Desirable : 3-5 years experience of working on research studies in rural areas
e). Nature of duties : Data collection in rural areas
f). Age : 30 years Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines
g). Cons. Salary : Rs. 18,000/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances
h). Tenure : One year only
i). Place of work : ICMR-NIN and travel to field sites located at a distance of 20-30 km (Medchal) from ICMR-NIN
2). a). Name of the post : Project Technician-lII
b). No of vacancies : 4 Posts (UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1)
c). Essential : 12 pass in science subjects and 2 years Diploma in Medical Lab Technician
Qualifications : 12th pass in science subjects and one year DMLT and one year lab experience
d). Desirable : 2-3 years experience of working on research studies in rural areas Certification as a phlebotomist or work experience on automated analyzers is an added asset
e). Nature of duties : Home-based capillary and venous blood sampie collection in rural areas of Medchal Dist Practice proper patient identification, transport and process blood samples, keep phlebotomy cart or station well-organized at all times and practice infection control standards Analyze blood samples using automated analysis following standard procedure.

c). Essential Qualifications : High School or equivalent from recognized board. Experience in field, knowledge of local language (Telugu)
d). Desirable : Experience in data collection/assisting biological samples collection or analysis.
e). Nature of duties : Assisting the field workers in data collection
f). Age : 25 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines
g). Cons. Salary : Rs. 15,800/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowance
