EPS 95 PENSION : As a measure to enable an additional exclusive window to very senior pensioners, this Department, vide its OM No.1/20/2018-P&PW(E) dated 18.07.2019, has allowed the pensioners in the age group of 80 years and above, to submit Annual Life Certificate from 1st October onwards, instead of 1st November onwards, every year.
EPS 95 PENSION NEWS (SM TELUGU SPOORTHI) : To continue receiving their pension, every central government retiree must submit an annual life certificate in the month of November. Numerous central government retirees have been seen physically visiting bank offices for this purpose, which can be done online using various routes. Pensioners can now submit their annual life certificate, or Jeevan Pramaan Patra, online instead of having to go to the bank or post office as they previously had to do.
Who Can Submit Life Certificate for EPS Pension
According to the Office Memorandum from Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare dated September 30, 2022, As a measure to enable an additional exclusive window to very senior pensioners, this Department, vide its OM No.1/20/2018-P&PW(E) dated 18-07-2019, has allowed the pensioners in the age group of 80 years and above, to submit Annual Life Certificate from 1st October onwards, instead of 1st November onwards, every year. According to a circular issued by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare on September 30, 2022, pensioners can submit the life certificate by using the Doorstep Banking Alliance of 12 public sector banks or the Doorstep Service of the postal department for submission of Digital Life Certificate. The following 6 methods can be used by a pensioner to manually or digitally submit an annual life certificate.
Pension Disbursing Authorities
Life certificate can be recorded by (EPS 95) Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs), if the pensioner physically appears before the PDA.
India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) of Department of Posts along with Meity have successfully launched the initiative of the Department of Pension & Pensiöners’ Welfare: Doorstep Service for submission of Digital Life Certificate through Postman in November 2020. IPPB is utilizing its national network of more than 1,36,000 access points in Post Offices and more than 1,89,000 Postmen & Gramin Dak Sevaks with smart phones and biometric devices to provide.
Doorstep Banking Services for generation of Digital Life Certificates. For leveraging this facility through a mobile phone, a pensioner has to download “Postinfo APP” from Google Play store. The process of submission of Digital Life Certificate through Postmen/Gramin Dak Sevaks. వారి పెన్షన్‌ను పొందడం కొనసాగించడానికి , ప్రతి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పదవీ విరమణ పొందిన వ్యక్తి తప్పనిసరిగా నవంబర్ నెలలో వార్షిక జీవిత ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని సమర్పించాలి. అనేక మంది కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ పదవీ విరమణ పొందినవారు ఈ ప్రయోజనం కోసం భౌతికంగా బ్యాంక్ కార్యాలయాలను సందర్శించడం కనిపించింది, ఇది వివిధ మార్గాలను ఉపయోగించి ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో చేయవచ్చు. పెన్షనర్లు ఇప్పుడు తమ వార్షిక జీవిత ధృవీకరణ పత్రం లేదా జీవన్ ప్రమాణ్ పత్రాన్ని ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో సమర్పించవచ్చు, బదులుగా వారు గతంలో చేయాల్సిందిగా బ్యాంకు లేదా పోస్టాఫీసుకు వెళ్లవలసి ఉంటుంది. అక్టోబర్ 1, 2022 నుండి లైఫ్ సర్టిఫికేట్‌ను ఎవరు సమర్పించగలరు.

సెప్టెంబరు 30, 2022 నాటి పెన్షన్ మరియు పెన్షనర్ల సంక్షేమ శాఖ నుండి ఆఫీస్ మెమోరాండం ప్రకారం, “చాలా సీనియర్ పెన్షనర్లకు అదనపు ప్రత్యేక విండోను ప్రారంభించడానికి ఒక చర్యగా, ఈ డిపార్ట్‌మెంట్, దాని OM నంబర్ 1/20/2018-P&PW( E) తేదీ 18.07.2019, 80 ఏళ్లు మరియు అంతకంటే ఎక్కువ వయస్సు గల పింఛనుదారులు, ప్రతి సంవత్సరం నవంబర్ 1 నుండి కాకుండా అక్టోబర్ 1 నుండి వార్షిక జీవిత ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని సమర్పించడానికి అనుమతించారు.
సెప్టెంబర్ 30, 2022న పెన్షన్ మరియు పెన్షనర్ల సంక్షేమ శాఖ జారీ చేసిన సర్క్యులర్ ప్రకారం, పెన్షనర్లు 12 ప్రభుత్వ రంగ బ్యాంకుల డోర్‌స్టెప్ బ్యాంకింగ్ అలయన్స్ లేదా డిజిటల్ లైఫ్‌ను సమర్పించడానికి పోస్టల్ డిపార్ట్‌మెంట్ యొక్క డోర్‌స్టెప్ సర్వీస్‌ని ఉపయోగించి లైఫ్ సర్టిఫికేట్‌ను సమర్పించవచ్చు. సర్టిఫికేట్ . వార్షిక జీవిత ధృవీకరణ పత్రాన్ని మాన్యువల్‌గా లేదా డిజిటల్‌గా సమర్పించడానికి పెన్షనర్ కింది 6 పద్ధతులను ఉపయోగించవచ్చు.
చేసే అధికారులు PDA ముందు పెన్షనర్ భౌతికంగా హాజరైనట్లయితే, పెన్షన్ డిస్‌బర్సింగ్ అథారిటీలు (PDAలు) లైఫ్ సర్టిఫికేట్‌ను రికార్డ్ చేయవచ్చు.
