AP Model Schools Recruitment 2022 for 282 Vacancy
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates including those candidates who worked as guest faculties in A.P. Model Schools for engaging 211 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) and 71 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) in A.P. Model Schools spread over in 12 Districts on contract basis in terms of G.O.Ms.No.94, GAD, Dated:28-03-2003.

4). RULE OF RESERVATION
The Rule of Reservations laid down under Rule 22 of A.P. State and Subordinate
Services Rules, 1996 shall be followed.
5). ELIGIBILITY:
I. AGE: The maximum age limit is 44 and should not be less than 18 years as on the date of issuance of notifcation. However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 49 years and in respect of Physically Challenged candidates the maximum age limit shall be 54 years.
Upper age limit for Ex-service Men: A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed Forces and three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit will be taken into consideration.
II. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
(i) Post Graduate Teacher
A. Academic Qualifcations: Must possess two-year integrated Post Graduate
Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree
from UGC recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the
subjects as specifed as under:
a. PGT (English) -M.A. in English.
b. PGT(Telugu) – M.A. in Telugu.
c. PGT (Civics) – M.A. in Political Science / Public Administration/ Politics.
d. PGT (Commerce) – M.Com. in Commerce with Accountancy / Cost Accounting /
Financial Accountancy as a main subject / Master of Financial Analysis provided
having B.Com in Graduation level.
Note: Holders of M.Com in Applied / Business Economics are not eligible for the
post of PGT-Commerce.
e. PGT (Economics) – M.A., in Economics / Applied Economics / Business
Economics / Rural Development / Mathematical Economics / Econometrics.
f. PGT (Maths) – M.A.; / M.Sc. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Statistics /

of the three equal optional subjects / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in
Telugu (B.O.L) (or) its equivalent / a Post Graduate Degree in Telugu And B.Ed
with Telugu as a methodology subject / Telugu Pandit Training or its equivalent.
b. TGT (Hindi): A Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as one of the full elective
subject / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) / Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha / Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad / any other equivalent recognized qualifcation in Hindi {BA degree Standard) / Post Graduate Degree in Hindi

METHOD OF SELECTION
Selection will be done through the Selection Committee constituted with the Regional Joint Director of School Education of the respective Zone Head Quarter with the following members:
a. Regional Jt. Director of School Edn. – Chairman & Convener
b. District Educational Ofcer of the Zone HQ – Member
c. Assistant Director (MS) of the Zone HQ – Member
d. One Principal of APMS as identifed by RJDSE – MemberREMUNERATION TO BE PAID: The Minimum Time Scale of Pay fxed by Government from time to time shall be paid, without any allowances. At present, the posts of PGT carries MTS of pay of Rs.31,460/- per month and the post of TGT carries MTS of pay of Rs.28,940/- per month.
7. PREPARATION OF MERIT LIST:
Candidates shall be selected on the basis of percentage of marks obtained:
i. In respect of PGT – concerned subject in the PG and the total percentage of marks obtained in B.Ed.Methodology
ii. In respect of TGT – total percentage of marks obtained in the Bachelors Degree and the total percentage of marks obtained in B.Ed..Methodology
iii. In respect of PGT and TGT, the candidates who have served as guest faculty will be assigned the rank prior to the non-guest faculty.
For Example: Candidate having percentage of marks 55% with the experience of guest faculty should be above the candidate having percentage of marks with 60% without experience.
iv. For the purpose of deciding ranks to the candidates with equal percentage of marks, the following procedure shall be followed in that order:
a. Date of Birth: The elder candidate will be given higher rank over a
younger candidate;
b. If the Date of Birth is also same, but the candidates belong to diferent genders, a female candidate will be given a higher rank over a male candidate;
c. If two or more candidates have same date of birth, and no female
candidate is one of them, or more than one female candidate are
available, then candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be given a higher rank:
1) ST
2) SC
3) BC A
4) BC B
5) BC C
6) BC D
7) BC E
d. Marks obtained in the X Class or equivalent examination.
9. PREPARATION OF SELECTION LISTS:
i) The rule of reservation to local candidates is
applicable and the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (OLC&RDR) Order (Presidential Order) 1975 and amendments there to shall be followed strictly.
ii) The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Physically Challenged and Ex-service Men, women is applicable as per Rule 22 of the Andhra Pradesh State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996 as amended from time to time.
iii) The rules issued from time to time by the Department of Disabled Welfare shall be followed in respect of special representation for diferently abled (physically challenged) persons

10. ENGAGEMENT AFTER SELECTION:
The RJDSEs concerned shall verify all original documents of the candidates selected from the selection list in support of fulfllment of eligibility conditions laid down in this Notifcation as well as other documents normally required. After verifcation, the RJDSE concerned shall issue orders of engaging selected candidates from Zonal list approved by the Selection Committee of the Zone. The
order of engagement on contract basis is limited to a period of one year from the date of appointment or until the termination of the orders whichever is earlier. After selection, the candidate shall enter into an agreement with the prescribed authorities.
