తాజాగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నోటిఫికేషన్ మార్చాలని యోచిస్తోందని వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. అదే సమయంలో ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులకు ప్రయోజనాలు కల్పించేందుకు ఎన్‌పీఎస్‌లోనే మార్పులు చేయాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం యోచిస్తోంది.
OPSతో ఎంతో ప్రయోజనం..
కొత్త, పాత పెన్షన్ పథకానికి చాలా వ్యత్యాసం ఉందని, దీని కారణంగా ఉద్యోగులు, పెన్షనర్లు పాత పెన్షన్ విధానాన్ని పునరుద్ధరించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు.
OPSలో పదవీ విరమణ సమయంలో, ఉద్యోగులు పెన్షన్‌గా సగం జీతం పొందుతారు. అదే సమయంలో, కొత్త పెన్షన్ స్కీమ్‌లో, ఉద్యోగి ప్రాథమిక వేతనంలో 10 శాతం + డీఏ మినహాయించబడుతుంది. పాత పెన్షన్ స్కీమ్‌లోని ప్రత్యేకత ఏమిటంటే ఉద్యోగుల జీతం నుంచి డబ్బు తీసికోరు.

ओपीएस में सेवानिवृत्ति के समय कर्मचारियों को आधा वेतन पेंशन के रूप में मिलता है। इस बीच, नई पेंशन योजना के तहत कर्मचारी के मूल वेतन + डीए का 10 प्रतिशत काटा जाएगा। पुरानी पेंशन योजना की खासियत यह थी कि कर्मचारियों के वेतन से पैसा नहीं काटा जाता था.
इसके अलावा नई पेंशन में 6 महीने बाद डीए मिलने का भी प्रावधान नहीं है। इसके अलावा पुरानी पेंशन का भुगतान राजकोष द्वारा किया जाता है। वहीं, नई पेंशन में निश्चित पेंशन की कोई गारंटी नहीं है।
कई कर्मचारी पहले ही सेवानिवृत्त हो चुके हैं। केंद्र सरकार ने जानकारी दी है कि जनवरी 2004 के बाद नियुक्त हुए 5.24 लाख कर्मचारियों में से 3554 एक साल पहले सेवानिवृत्त हुए हैं. ऐसे कर्मचारी पेंशन का लाभ नहीं उठा सके।
