Indian Bank has announced a total of 1,500 provisional training seats across States/UTs.

State-wise vacancies are provisional and may change according to the Bank’s requirements. Andhra Pradesh category-wise total in the notification: SC 13, ST 5, OBC 22, EWS 8, UR 37 (Total 85).

Educational Qualification | విద్యార్హత

• Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised University, or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
• Graduation must have been passed between 01-04-2022 and 01-11-2026 (both dates inclusive).
• Final result must have been declared on or before 01-11-2026. Candidates should possess supporting University/Board documents.
• Eligible candidates must also complete their profile on the NATS 2.0 portal before applying to Indian Bank.

Age Limit | వయోపరిమితి

Age is calculated as on 01-11-2026.

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Candidate should have been born not earlier than 02-11-1998 and not later than 01-11-2006 (both dates inclusive).

Monthly Stipend | నెలవారీ స్టైపెండ్

The stipend includes Bank and Government components as specified in the notification. Apprentices are not eligible for other allowances/benefits.

Selection Process | ఎంపిక విధానం

1. Online Objective Test
2. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT), where applicable
3. Interview, if the Bank decides to conduct one
4. Document verification and medical fitness as applicable

Online Test Pattern

Duration: Composite time of 60 minutes. The test will be conducted in major regional languages as decided by the Bank, except General English, which will be in English.

The Bank will decide the minimum aggregate qualifying marks. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual sections. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum aggregate percentage as stated in the notification.

Local Language Test | స్థానిక భాషా పరీక్ష

For Andhra Pradesh, the specified local languages are Telugu / Urdu. Candidates should be able to read, write, speak and understand the opted language.

The language test is conducted after qualifying the online test. Candidates who produce 8th, 10th or 12th standard marks memo/certificate showing that they studied the opted local language may be exempted from the language test.

Application Fee | దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు

Application fee / intimation charges are non-refundable. Online payment transaction charges, if any, are to be borne by the candidate.

Training Period & Important Conditions | శిక్షణ వివరాలు

• Training period: 12 months of on-the-job training.
• Apprenticeship is training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
• After successful completion and assessment, BOAT (SR) issues a digital Certificate of Proficiency through the NATS 2.0 portal.
• The apprentice has no right to claim regular or contractual employment in Indian Bank during or after the training.
• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing apprenticeship, or have one year or more job experience after completing the qualification are not eligible as per the advertisement.

How to Apply Online | ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో ఎలా దరఖాస్తు చేయాలి?

1. Register on the NATS 2.0 portal and complete the profile to 100% (as applicable to the candidate).
2. Visit the Indian Bank official website and open the Careers section.
3. Select “Engagement of Apprentices – 2026” and complete the online registration.
4. Fill in personal, educational and State/UT details carefully.
5. Upload photograph, live photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the prescribed specifications.
6. Pay the applicable fee online and submit the application.
7. Save or print the final application and e-receipt for future reference.
