ENGAGEMENT OF DOCTORS and PARA MEDICAL STAFF
ON CONTRACT BASIS
➡️ In view of the exig
encies related with the COVID -19 Pandemic, Railway Hospital, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai requires the following Contract Medical Practitioners& Para Medical Staff on contract basis for their Designated Covid -19 Ward for a period upto 31-03-2022 or till the continuance of the scheme or till requirement, whichever is earlier.
➡️ Candidates in possession of eligibility criteria mentioned at Para II, can apply for the respective posts. Preference will be given to Candidates who are residents in Greater Chennai, followed by residents of Kanchipuram & Tiruvallur District, and then of those residing inTamil Nadu
MODE OF APPLICATION :
Candidates may apply ONLINE at the following address http://pbicf.in. Only Online
Application will be accepted. No Paper application will be accepted. Hardcopy/
Printout of Application and certificates/documents need not be sent.
MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS :
Selected Candidates shall undergo a medical examination, for fitness to perform the
work awarded to him/her before the contract.
SELECTION PROCESS :
(a) Interview on Mobile/Telephone will be conducted for selection of suitable
candidates for the posts referred at Sl.No.1 to 2 of para II. First preference will
be given to those who are residents in Greater Chennai, followed by residents of
Kanchipuram & Tiruvallur, and after that those residing in Tamil Nadu will be
considered (those closer to Chennai will be given preference). Subject to the
condition laid down with regard to residence for doctors and nursing
superintendent, higher qualification than prescribed qualification, academic
performance, experience etc. will get preference. For the post of House Keeping
Assistant (Level 1) referred at Sl.No.3 of para II, the listing will be on the basis
of 10th marks, subject to the above condition of residence.
(b) No certificates are required at the time of application. Shortlisted candidates are
required to send scanned copies of the certificates to the e-mail/Whatsapp
number only at the time of interview. Email/Whatsapp number will be
communicated later
Date and time of mobile interview for shortlisted candidates will be communicated to their mobile number
TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
31.03.2022 or till the continuance of the scheme or till requirement, whichever is
earlier. The service rendered during the contract is an arrangement for meeting up
the requirement of the pandemic situation and it will not confer any right for
automatic regularization/absorption in Integral Coach Factory in any
circumstances.
2. The services rendered on contract basis is a stop gap arrangement and will not
have any bearing in respect of consideration of their period of service in case of
regular selection through UPSC or RRB/RRC.
3. Contract Staff who enters into contract with the Railways will not have any claim
or right for his/her regularization or absorption in Railway service.
4. During the validity of contracts, the Railway Administration will be at liberty to
terminate the contract at any time during the contract period for Administrative
reasons whatsoever. The contract shall also be terminated forthwith if the work of
the Contract Staff is found to be unsatisfactory OR the full time Contract Staff is
found to be physically or mentally invalid or incapacitated.
5. Candidates proposed to be engaged on contract should be fit medically.
6. The candidates on contract are required to follow the dress code as per
administrative requirement at their own cost.
7. The selected candidate will be paid remuneration as noted in Para-I mentioned
above and the candidates cannot claim any additional remuneration allowances or
other benefits during the course of contract period.
8. No private practice or any other employment will be permitted during the contract
period.
